We got away from Provo for the weekend to celebrate my birthday last week. It was a weekend full of spending some good quality time with my Mr. Lund. We ate dinner in the tiny town of Kamas, and stuck out from all the locals. We drove through a peaceful blizzard, and enjoyed the open fields of snow. It was so beautiful. We spent a weekend staying in a 115 year old house that we luckily got all to ourselves. We cuddled and ate our favorite treats all the while watching a few good movie thrillers. Bed & Breakfasts are my cup of tea. It feels like home, and you always get to meet and spend time with the ones who run the place. She was a really sweet lady, and made one fantastic breakfast for us when we woke up….and then shortly later went back to reality in Provo. It sure is fun to get away. Mr. Lund sure knows how to treat me when I am in need of something exactly like this, and I didn’t even ask. That’s love right there folks. (Obama always says folks and it drives me nuts, but somehow I started saying it.) Why does that happen?

hi, i follow your blog now 🙂 I love this post! I feel like "poor" college student couples I know are always going on fancy long vacations. It's good to remember a simple weekend away can be just as fun. Our birthdays are the same week, and I just happened to be spending that same weekend in Kamas too, wierd!

So true Dana! We got such a good deal on this, it was almost free! Never knew so much goes on in Kamas in February.
