I thought I would finally try a broiled grapefruit. So easy, and I am in love.
This is all you do:
1/2 t Cinnamon
1/4 C Brown sugar
1 T Butter
Melt, and stir it together.
Sprinkle evenly on top of grapefruit, there is enough to use it on two grapefruits. Put it in the oven on broil until the sugar is bubbling.
Now maybe Mr. Lund will like grapefruit. It is a test I am going to try. it is great.
On a healthy note, I have also made the decision to eat a little more healthy. I don’t know if what I am doing is making a huge difference, but it makes me feel better about what I am eating. I am taking MSG out of my diet, as well as always looking at ingredients to become familiar with ingredients to avoid. Of course, we will still eat out occasionally, but at least I can have better stuff in our home.
No more canned soup, ritz crackers (I’ll stick to Kashi), etc. The list goes on. My favorite thing that I still have that has MSG is ranch. I love homemade buttermilk ranch. Only problem is the MSG. So my sister and I are both on a voyage to make it from scratch. That will probably take a while.
I also buy unbleached flour whether it is my all purpose, bread flour, or whole wheat. I want to have my own chickens so I can give them a good home, and also so I know that I am eating good eggs.
Since we are in an apartment now I at least upgraded to cage free. Even Taylor bought those eggs when he went to the store. That made me really happy.

I have also been watching every food documentary on Netflix. I would highly suggest watching any of the ones you see.
